Our Programs & Pathways: What Exactly Do You Offer?
We offer a clear pathway of programs designed to guide individuals from initial skill-building to long-term career success.
Our journey begins with foundational programs like the Job-Ready Program for building core skills and our SLES Work Experience for school leavers to explore different industries. From there, participants can progress into Supported Employment—a permanent, paid job on our team—or pursue a formal qualification through a Supported Apprenticeship.
The final step is our Career Launch Support, where we provide expert coaching to help experienced individuals secure an independent job in the wider community. Each stage is designed to deliver tangible outcomes, offering a reliable and structured pathway for NDIS participants to achieve their professional goals.
Supported Employment
Our Supported Employment program represents the ultimate goal we work towards for your participant: a permanent, paid job where they can launch their professional career within our team.
This opportunity is designed for individuals who have successfully progressed through our preparatory programs and are ready for the responsibilities of a long-term role. We offer your participant a permanent part-time contract with a full award wage, providing them with true job stability. As a valued member of our team, they will be responsible for completing work to a high standard while receiving our ongoing mentorship. Together, we will collaborate with them to create a personalised career development plan, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for them to achieve their long-term employment goals.
Supported Apprenticeships & Traineeships
For participants who are ready to build a skilled, long-term career, our Supported Apprenticeship and Traineeship program is the ultimate pathway. This allows your participant to become a certified professional by combining a paid, hands-on job with formal study, resulting in a nationally recognised qualification like a Certificate III.
While they earn a wage and gain practical skills, the key difference is the dedicated support we provide. Our mentors will work closely with your participant, offering one-on-one guidance through the challenges of both their workplace responsibilities and their academic coursework. This program is ideal for motivated individuals ready to commit to a formal training contract, providing them with a clear and supported route to a successful, skilled profession.
Career Launch Support
When your participant has gained the skills and confidence for full independence, our Career Launch Support program provides the final bridge to the open job market. This short-term, intensive service is designed for experienced individuals ready for their next professional chapter.
We work one-on-one with your participant, providing expert coaching on resume writing and interview preparation, while actively connecting them with our network of local Canberra employers. Crucially, our support continues even after they are hired, with post-placement check-ins to ensure a successful and sustainable transition into their new role. This program is the culmination of their journey, empowering them to secure a fantastic independent job.
A Flexible Mentoring Partner for Your Participants
Our one-on-one mentoring is a versatile and standalone service available to any NDIS participant, whether they are in our employment programs or not. It is particularly effective for individuals needing to build confidence, navigate mental or physical health barriers, or develop practical life and coping skills for greater independence. We pair your participant with a dedicated mentor—a personal champion—who works with them in a safe and confidential environment. Together, they set and achieve personal goals, from developing daily routines to building communication skills, providing the foundational support needed to thrive in all aspects of their life.
